I recently photographed my first Indian wedding at Boreham house. The day started with a civil ceremony held in the beautiful Boreham house. Then in the afternoon there was a Mandap ceremony held in Boreham houses large Banqueting suite. There was then a reception in the Marquee. The bride had 3 changes of dress and looked stunning. The Mandap ceremony with all its important rituals was great fun to photograph being very colourful and noisy. The day ended with a stunning firework display.
I am really pleased to announce that we had huge success at the annul Masters Photographers Association award night. This is a very prestigious event which professional photographers from the London and Essex area submit there best images for a critique and to hopefully win a award.
This year It was judged by Ray Lowe a superb photographer and colour character who didn’t mix his words when it came to the critic!
We are very excited to announce that we did extremly well, in fact our best ever year.
Stacy is now the official l London and Essex Beauty and Glamour photograher of the year, plus she received a award of excelence for one of her wedding images.
Melanie also recieved a award of excellence for one of her glamour images, and I picked up 3 awards of excellence for my wedding images.

I recently photographed another wedding at the stunning Leez Priory Situated just out- side Chelmsford. Leez priory is a magnificant tudor mansion set in 40 acres of parkland.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Ayesha and Gary’s Wedding. I started the day by photographing Ayesha at Channels Lodge. We then went onto St Marys in Gt Baddow and back to Channels for the reception. It was a bitterly cold day, but we managed to get some beautiful images.
I have produced my first video with these images which you can view below. Producing Videos from my still photograps is something I will be doing a lot more of in the future. My clients can view these videos on Facebook/youtube and share them with their freinds/families
I’m pleased to announce that Stacy My studio Manageress has today Achieved her Licentiate with the MPA (Master photographers Association)
The MPA website states that ” Applicants must show competence in their chosen field of photography, show a thorough understanding of camera techniques, lighting and composition and ability to create merchantable quality photography”.
For Stacy to achieve Licentiate status she had to show ten prints from one wedding plus an additional ten prints showing a variety of commissioned wedding work. This was then Assessed by 5 of the very top photographers in the Uk.
I feel that if you are booking a wedding photographer, Its very important to check that they are qualified with either the MPA ( Master Photographers Association) or BIPP ( British Institute Of Professional photographers) If a photographer is a qualified member it does guarantee that their work has been assessed, a full time professional and Insured.

One of the hi-lights of the photographic industry calendar is the annual PTO – Photographic Training Overseas Event organised by George Dawber and his team. A week of intense seminars and practical training carried out by leading wedding and portrait photographers, all camped out in a swanky hotel somewhere hot at the end of January. This year the event was in Egypt, what a crazy time to be there, it all added to the excitement. The PTO photographic competition is one of the most prestigious in the industry, with top photographers competing to win the awards. So as you can imagine I was very excited and pleased to find out I won PTO Wedding Photographer of the year 2011. Below is a picture of me collecting my trophy and certificate in Egypt.
