Cassie & Adam – Stock Brook Manor

We recently photographed Cassie and Adam’s lovely wedding at Stock Brook Country Club which is a well known premiere wedding venue in Essex. It is a wonderful setting for a relaxed wedding and one that offers great photo opportunities for your special day. We asked Cassie , why she had chosen Pauls Studio, she told us that we offered varied packages at a good price and that also we came highly recommended by the Wedding Co-ordinators at Stock Brook, a great accolade indeed !

Cassie and Adam chose to have a simple and classically elegant style for their wedding with lovely cream roses and a purple and aubergine colour accent for accessories and Bridesmaid dresses. Cassie’s dress and bouquet added a hint of glamour with sequins and crystals for added sparkle and her unusual lace and ribbon shoes a touch of vintage. As you can see below she looked stunning and we were able to take some wonderful images.

For the Wedding car, the couple were lucky to have use of Cassie’s fathers pride and joy, his much loved Triumph TR4, what a fab entrance to make !

There were wonderful opportunities for us to take some great pictures at Stock Brook as it’s such a beautiful setting and has some great places for all the family pictures as well as the more intimate Bride and Groom ones. The 10 bridesmaids looked stunning in dresses that followed the couples aubergine and purple theme.

Cassie chose flowers for the table decorations and favours that matched the colour scheme and the wonderful cake mirrored the cream roses in her bouquet.

Cassie and Adam danced their 1st dance to a favourite R Kelly track, and then the resident DJ kept the entertainment going until late in the evening, the fun casino added another dimension and everyone had a wonderful memorable time ! We would like to wish Cassie and Adam all the best from us all at Pauls Studio for a wonderful married future together. We loved photographing your special day and hope you were as thrilled with the photographs as we are.

The Fairy Experience is back due to popular demand

The Fairy Experience is running from Thursday 3^rd – Sunday 6^th May.

The studios will be transformed into the land of make believe for one weekend only. Children can come along and choose from a range of costumes and accessories to become a Fairy or Elf for their very own professional photo shoot. There will be a competition running to find the cutest Fairy or Elf with prizes worth £500 on offer. The Fairy Experience works to raise money to donate to a children’s cancer charity.

We love wedding fayres , in February we exhibited at the highly prestigious Heart fayre held at The Brentwood Centre, it was a great success for all involved and kicked off the 2012 wedding season with a bang. We had so many lovely future Brides and Grooms attend our stand and we were able to show our new range of albums for this year as well as all the lovely existing ones that we offer as part of our packages. Paul beats a hat trick at PTO in Tunisia !

Just back from a wonderful weeks training in Tunisia with PTO (Photography Traing Overseas) and am pleased to announce I had 4 of my images in the final selection of the print competition. What an honour !

I am a great believer in the continuation of training both for myself and all members of the team at the studio, not only does it keep you fresh but is a great opportunity to brush up on old techniques and learn new ones. On my return from PTO we had the wonderful portrait photographer Saraya Cortaville visit the studio and teach us all some wonderful new techniques with lighting and posing, the images below are a few from that training session. We have some wonderful promotions and special offers coming up in the next few weeks so please watch this space for news of those.

New Viewing Room and New Wedding Albums

We are constantly on the look out for new products that come to the market, back from a recent trip to FOCUS a professional Imaging trade show at the Birmingham NEC we are pleased to announce we will be including the new style Graphi album in our range.

We offer two different styles of albums, Fusion & Graphi Studio Storybook.

Fusion albums are a contemporary fusion of matted, full-bleed and flush mount pages presented in a stunning album. They come in two sizes, 30×30 album with 50 images or 35×35 album with 70 images.

Graphi Studio are simply the best storybook style album. A bespoke album with over 100 cover options and 4 unique paper finishes. They come in two sizes, 20×30 album with 50 images or 25×35 album with 70 images.

All of our albums are hand designed in the studio from the Bride & Groom’s chosen images so that each album is unique to the client. They are then able to make changes to the album to ensure they are 100% happy before the album is sent to print. To add to the whole experience we have made our viewing room even more sumptuous and cosy, when you are choosing your images we want you to be able to take your time and be comfortable . Help raise money for cancer reasearch UK

Please help us raise £500 for Cancer Research UK by booking a £10 photo-shoot! for just £10 you will have an hour photo-shoot in our studio and be able to choose a 10×8 inch print. Indian Wedding Photography at Boreham House

I recently photographed my first Indian wedding at Boreham house. The day started with a civil ceremony held in the beautiful Boreham house. Then in the afternoon there was a Mandap ceremony held in Boreham houses large Banqueting suite. There was then a reception in the Marquee. The bride had 3 changes of dress and looked stunning. The Mandap ceremony with all its important rituals was great fun to photograph being very colourful and noisy. The day ended with a stunning firework display.

Pauls studio has huge success at the MPA London & Essex awards night

I am really pleased to announce that we had huge success at the annul Masters Photographers Association award night. This is a very prestigious event which professional photographers from the London and Essex area submit there best images for a critique and to hopefully win a award.

This year It was judged by Ray Lowe a superb photographer and colour character who didn’t mix his words when it came to the critic!

We are very excited to announce that we did extremly well, in fact our best ever year.

Stacy is now the official l London and Essex Beauty and Glamour photograher of the year, plus she received a award of excelence for one of her wedding images.

Melanie also recieved a award of excellence for one of her glamour images, and I picked up 3 awards of excellence for my wedding images.

A totalof 6 awards for Pauls Studio!!!

Wedding photography at Channels

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Ayesha and Gary’s Wedding. I started the day by photographing Ayesha at Channels Lodge. We then went onto St Marys in Gt Baddow and back to Channels for the reception. It was a bitterly cold day, but we managed to get some beautiful images.

I have produced my first video with these images which you can view below. Producing Videos from my still photograps is something I will be doing a lot more of in the future. My clients can view these videos on Facebook/youtube and share them with their freinds/families
