Paul's Studio impressed us from the start of our search for the photographer for our Civil Partnership at the Lawn on 17th April 2012. Friendly and professional, they genuinely cared about our big day, making us feel really comfortable every time we visited them to plan everything. Being a same-sex couples that was really important to us.

Andrea did our pre-wedding photo-shoot, which was a great added extra in the package, and great fun too. It really helped us get used to the camera and we loved the photo's that were taken.

Paul and Gemma were our photographers on the day, and we can honestly say they were great. Not only did they take some beautiful photographs, so we have great memories of our special day, but we barely noticed they were there most of the time. Exactly what we wanted.

The photos were so good we struggled to choose which ones we wanted in our album, which is a great record of a wonderful day. One we will treasure forever.

We met Mel at a wedding fayre and straight away I knew she was the right photographer for our special day. Approachable and on my level, so knew we would get along and I would feel comfortable with her taking our photographs.

She certainly didn't disappoint! I can honestly say I love every single photo that was taken and Mel's attention to detail and accuracy was perfect, making each photo as amazing as the last.

Our guests were not left waiting too long, and Mel made sure everyone was where they needed to be which made our life a lot easier! I loved that she took photographs of our table centre pieces and table decorations, as with everything else going on, I had forgotten what they looked like!

Our album is beautiful, a memory that every couple should cherish forever, and without all the hard work put in by Paul's Studio's, we certainly have that.

From our first meeting at Paul's Studio we were impressed with the quality of the service and the excellent albums on display. In the lead up to the wedding, we discussed requirements and the running of the day which made us feel confident on the day itself - especially important as neither of us are naturals in front of the camera!

On the wedding day, Paul and Helena were great, capturing a variety of shots from posed and traditional photos to more natural images that showed the details of our day. Paul and Helena were definitely a welcome addition to our wedding and ensured the taking of photos fitted in smoothly to the day. We really love our wedding photos. It was really important to us to have some beautiful photos of the day- but we also wanted to avoid any of our guests having to wait around for too long, or missing out on much of the celebrations. I felt Mel completely understood this. She had a great non-fuss approach, confidently and politely directing our guests to get the best shot, and the photographs themselves were beautiful. She managed to find some fantastic locations around our venue and worked incredibly quickly to turn things around.

After attending a friend's wedding in 2009 we noticed how good the photographer Stacey was and we were given the link to view the professional wedding photos. We were very impressed and decided to go with Paul's Studios for our own wedding at St Michaels and All Angels and Newland Hall on 6th Aug 2011. We had Paul as photographer and we could not recommend him highly enough! He produced the most beautiful pictures and managed to capture the essence of the day in a way we could not have imagined. Our album is absolutely exquisite and we recommend that you definitely go for the Graphi Studio storybook type. Even though this option is quite expensive, they are such good quality and such a lovely thing to have as a keepsake of the day, definitely worth the extra!

Before our wedding day, we had a consultation and a complimentary pre-wedding photo shoot. During which we discussed with Paul the sort of poses that would be taken on the day We were really grateful to have this as it completely eased our minds and we knew what to expect.

On the day of the wedding, Paul remained professional and calming throughout (he even had a backup plan in case it rained!) The quality of the photos are absolutely beautiful, very flattering and we had a nice selection taken both at the church and our reception venue (Five Lakes).

All in all, not only was the service excellent up to and on the day, the after sales service was fantastic and the staff are incredibly kind & helpful.

Just wanted to let you know we decided to stay home yesterday to receive the albums and it was totally worth it. We absolutely love them and the parents albums look so much better than I was expecting!!

I can honestly say this whole experience working with Paul's studios was fantastic. The photos are amazing, the day went smoothly and everyone has commented on how wonderfully the photographs captured the day. My sister-in-law who has been to 12 weddings this year said that Paul and Helena were definitely the best photographers and the nicest photos that she has seen out of all of them. She is even to keen to use you when she gets married (but that won't be for a few years).

Dear Paul and the Team

We chose Paul's Studio after being recommended by a family member and we weren't disappointed. We loved the fact that the wedding package included the engagement photo shoot, it's a nice extra that no other photographers we had come across did.

We got married on 21 May 2011 at Stock Brook Manor and we had Mel as our photographer. She did a wonderful job and was very patient when things got stressful and busy whilst we were getting ready. She was also great a making sure we got all the pre-discussed shots and also some fantastic shots of us alone that we are really happy with.

We were really happy with our proof book, it is great quality and a brilliant way to show people all our photographs, and again a lovely extra that is included in the package. We were really happy with our enlargement photographs and the album, we even purchased the disc with all our images as we loved them all so much. We will always look back at our photographs with happy memories.

We were very impressed with the photo albums which were on display and there was an album of a wedding at our venue that Paul had previous shot at. On the run up to the wedding, we met with Paul and discussed our requirements for our photographs and went through the running of the day which helped a smooth and efficient service on the day.

We were recommended Paul's Studio by a friend and I cannot express how professional they are. When we visited the studio we met Paul and the team and was immediately pleased and felt comfortable with their help and guidance on which package to choose.

When we started planning our wedding we were both nervous of selecting our wedding photographer as they are responsible for capturing those one off moments of a couples special day. We were approached by photographers at local wedding fayres, however we did not feel confident that they would capture our special day to our liking.

We were recommended Paul's Studios by a work colleague. Paul had been the photographer for their wedding and also for some of their friends and family. After visiting the website we liked the style of photography and we immediately arranged a consultation. Our first visit to the studio was welcoming and we were instantly put at ease by the professional nature of Paul and his Team. The same day we booked Paul to be our wedding photographer.

On our wedding day Paul remained professional and did not disappoint. Paul helped us feel at ease during the day, which helped as we were both naturally nervous. Our guests commented on Paul's professionalism and how he arranged some beautiful shots.

After our wedding we knew we would be receiving a complimentary proof book, but did not realise how good the quality was going to be. The book assisted us, our family and friends in selecting our preferred photographs. We opted for the Deluxe package and were so happy with the final wedding album.

We have since recommended Paul's Studios to both family and friends, and we will be arranging a family portrait shortly.

We got married nearly a year ago at St Peters Church, Basildon and the reception was held at Orsett Hall Hotel. The photographs captured those memorable moments of your special day and will be observed by generations to come.

Paul's Studio was recommended to us by our wedding venue and they did not disappoint. They were extremely helpful from the moment we walked into their studio and it was clearly a professional outlet. We had two photographers with Paul being the main photographer. Both helped to make the day fun and captured some wonderful moments. Neither myself nor my husband are natural in front of the camera but both photographers made it easy and enjoyable for all the photos to be taken and there are some very good photos as an end result. After our wedding we were able to sit down with a complementary book that was given to us which really helped to make the right choices when it came to choosing photos for our book. We opted for the graphi pack and are really pleased with the end result, with friends and family commenting on how well the photos fit together compared to a traditional album.

Already, we have recommended Paul's studio to friends and family for their events and wouldn't hesitate in going back to Pauls Studio in the future.

We got married at Newlands Hall, Roxwell on the 5th June 2010. It was the best day of our lives and we are thankful we had Paul and the team to help preserve those memories.

Paul himself was our photographer for our wedding day on 8th August 2009 and both Paul and the staff at Pauls Studios have provided an absolutely fantastic service! Paul was so polite, organized, flexible and professional throughout the whole of our wedding day and made everyone feel very comfortable and relaxed which is very important. On the morning of the wedding, I was very stressed as I was running behind schedule. However, Paul was great and helped to keep us all calm!!

We had a large number of guests at our wedding and Paul was great at organising everyone for the group shots etc and with no fuss or bother at all. In fact, several of our guests have commented on his efficiency and organisation throughout the day.

We are so happy with all of the photos taken on the day and feel that the photos really capture our special day perfectly. We discussed and explained the style that we wanted with Paul beforehand and he did exactly as we asked. I must also mention that the photo's were all available to view on the Pauls Studios website extremely quickly after the wedding day and any orders that have been made by us and our relatives have been sent out to them almost immediately.

We are really grateful to Pauls Studios for everything and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who was getting married- both their pre-sale and post-sale service has been absolutely excellent all the way through and they have been a pleasure to deal with.

We had already booked a wedding package with another photographer, who had subsequently introduced an online gallery to their website. As we looked through their recent work we became more and more disappointed and worried... Some friends of ours had married three months before us, and recommended Paul's Studio. We were very impressed with the photographs Jasmine had taken for them, and were relieved when Paul's Studio could accommodate our wedding date at such short notice.

Our original meeting was with Stacy, who talked us through the options available. She was very friendly and helpful, and we were happy to hear that she would be taking the photos of our special day. Stacy was with us from the morning 'getting ready' shots all the way through to the evening firework display. She immediately put us all at ease, and was very patient with our four little bridesmaids and page boys! She managed to organise everyone efficiently without being obtrusive and, as a result, captured some lovely natural shots with genuine smiles rather than 'posed' ones!

We chose a Sigma design album, and were very impressed with the service we received. We were able to try different page layouts, and different colours (b&w/sepia) until we were happy with the overall look of our album.

At each stage our changes were updated on the website very quickly. We also ordered two parents' albums and two framed enlargements, which were beautifully finished and a CD of all the photos. Everyone who has looked at our proof book has been very impressed with how professional it looks.

Thanks to everyone at Paul's Studio for such fantastic service from start to finish, and particularly to Stacy, for capturing our special day.

Thank you so much for helping make our day so special! It was great to have you there from the beginning of the day to the end, starting with doing an amazing job on hair and makeup for me and my 6 bridesmaids!!! Through to even capturing some of the evening fun, including our first dance! You are so professional and such great fun to have around for the day... Making the whole thing so relaxed for everyone. We have some really fun shots, which I absolutely LOVE... like the 'squashing' shot, and the walking ones.. where you have managed to catch people looking so naturally happy with big grins on their faces! :) You managed to get everyone organised so well.

It was also great to have Graeme there taking the reportage photos, this meant that we really did get every moment! It was so nice to be able to see some pics of the men all getting ready, and Rich getting picked up in his surprise wedding car. We have really lovely natural pictures too, where our guests didn't even know they were being caught on camera.

You really were a great fun duo to have with us for the day and we have so many amazing pictures. You did such a great job of capturing every happy moment, so thank you again!

Photography was a really important part of our wedding planning. After the cake has been eaten, the dress has been cleaned and the flowers have wilted what's left are memories and photographs. Photographs to us are art, history and tell our "story", so our memories line the walls of our home, our desks and our bookshelves and always make us smile. So it was crucial that we picked a photographer that could help us continue the tale.

We researched probably hundreds of photographers, and shortlisted three. In the end we picked Paul's Studios as they could deliver the pictures and the look that we wanted within our budget plus a few extras as well. The engagement shoot was a great way to decide on our style and what we were comfortable with and the pre-wedding meeting was helpful in defining what mattered the most to us - unusual and contemporary shots, some "traditional" for the family, reportage pictures that told the wedding story for our future generations and us getting on with having fun without posing for hours. And that's what we did. We were so pleased with the pictures, the service and dedication to the cause of taking the perfect picture (cue a Toastmaster driving in and out in a Mini Cooper to add just the "right" hint of light to an evening shot) and got over a thousand fabulous photographs without us having to spend the whole day posing and missing out on the fun!

The only complaint would be that the pictures were so good it was so hard to pick only a 100 for the album!
